As part of the Offer Department, Visual Merchandising & Trade Marketing Team, you will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions:
INSTITUTIONAL ANIMATION (WINDOWS AND SPECIAL IN-STORE SET UP)
- Build strategic and elevated design for the retail environment that upholds and maintains the essence of the brand while ensuring its image consistency according to the central guidelines.
- Develop creative strategies and design directions/briefs to execute windows and impactful set-up for store interiors that build upon Sephora’s core values and strengthen its culture / brand image.
- Creativity briefs for materials design & related back and forth for final materials approval respecting and enhancing Brand identity and highlighting product.
- Sustainability approach to create Window and POP materials with sustainable and/or recycled materials.
- Design a visibility calendar, respecting launches, and central animation plan.
- Management and respect of timelines to ensure materials are on store in line with brand campaigns, products, launches and the annual animation plan.
- Understand deeply stores and their needs with the aim to ensure suitable execution in line with the overall environment and corporate guidelines.
- Collaborate with different stakeholders.
- Manage different creative agencies and suppliers including site visit to approve color proof and prototypes.
- Manage Budget with monthly update with the Head of VM and Finance team.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain department and warehouse to follow the delivery and distribution of the material to the stores.
- Responsible for researching trends, competitors, innovative materials that can be applied to projects through mood boards, target analysis, competition research.
- Organize work completion meetings, report, and list any punch list and follow up actions.
- Set up agendas for meetings and assist with ad hoc projects.
IN-STORE ACTIVATION AND SERVICES
- Cooperate with EME team for deployment new services or update existing services.
- Deployment of New Digital Diagnosis tools according to central guidelines.
- Coordinate the services communication plan with Marketing team.
- Coordinate the information for services training.
- Supervise the institutional services communication in-store.
- Create special and innovative in-store activation to engage and delight our customer.
- Manage budget for production and activations.
IN STORE COMMUNICATION
- Be the coordinator and internal referent for all in-store promotional communication assets.
- Coordinate different creative agencies to create promo materials.
- Manage and split communication materials in Stores.
- Manage communication tools orders for remodeling and new openings.
- Manage budget for production of the in-store communication assets.
Who we are looking for:
- University Degree in Architecture or Design
- 3-5 years of experience in luxury/fashion & jewelry retail / branding and design industries.
- Outstanding creative skills with a forward-thinking and innovative approach
- Project Management: highly organized at work, experience in managing multiple projects, highly oriented to results, creative problem solving and ability to work under strict timelines.
- Experience in understanding technical drawings, materials, and finishes.
- Communication: good experience in project presentations and interpersonal relationship, excellence in team working. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- English proficiency.
- Budget management.
- Proficient in Power Point and Excel.
- Expertise on Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator). AutoCAD and a 3D modelling/rendering programs will be considered as a plus.
- Availability to travel to attend mock-up review and coordinate in-store activation.
- Availability to work during night (5 nights maximum for year) to coordinate special in-store set up in Sephora’s Flagship.
How to be successful in the role and at Sephora:
The candidate for this role will be responsible for the creative development of special set-up and activations within Sephora stores. The mission will be to create a coherent and impactful customer journey, engaging and attracting the consumer throughout the entire shopping experience (from the window display to the checkout).
The Visual Design & Operational Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing multiple projects and is responsible for seasonal set-up through a creative approach, design development, project reviews, project communications, quality and design control, scheduling, and project reporting. The candidate must be creative, technical and with a project management attitude, detailed oriented with the expertise to develop special set-up, experiences and services within the Sephora standards.
He/she will need to:
- exploit his/her creative mindset to develop, together with a network of trusted agencies, high visibility executions in the different store clusters to boost seasonal animation including new services and special activations to attract and delight the customer.
