At Bulgari, we have one ambition: to become the most desirable luxury experience in the world. We are looking for a passionate Selling Skills Training Manager to join our Retail Excellence & Sales Training team in Rome and help us bring this vision to life.
Reporting to the Global Sales Training Senior Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering impactful training content for Bulgari’s global retail community. The primary objective is to elevate our client experience and signature moments by creating inspirational and practical training modules—from concept to design, realization, and deployment. These programs will empower our store teams to consistently deliver excellence in every client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop selling skills training programs using dedicated training platforms (e.g. Articulate Rise). These programs will be delivered through a blended approach, incorporating digital self-learning and in-class sessions.
In partnership with the Retail Excellence team, design and train the local sales trainers’ community on the evolution of the selling experience across all touchpoints, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and retail KPIs.
Work with other departments such as Operations, CRM, and Clienteling to ensure key omni-retail strategies, instruments, and messages are taken into account in the design and development of selling skills training.
Oversee and manage training data for all selling skills programs, ensuring that priorities are met and that training aligns with Mystery Shopping and Client Satisfaction/NPS feedback and areas of improvement.
Gather and monitor market feedback and local training activities, ensuring consistency and continuous improvement in sales training programs and spot best practices to make them scalable for all training community.
Actively contribute to the organization and facilitation of training events, including Train-the-Trainer sessions and worldwide/local training initiatives.
Apply strong project management skills to meet deadlines and manage various validation phases, ensuring proper stakeholder involvement throughout the process.
Monitor and manage allocated budgets for training projects, ensuring financial oversight and adherence to cost constraints; source and liaise with external training suppliers for specific projects.
Support the onboarding and integration of newly hired trainers, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
Qualifications/Professional Capabilities
At least five/six years’ experience in training design, content creation, and facilitation for retail and sales teams.
In-store experience or equivalent will be considered a plus.
A deep understanding of omnichannel retail and customer experience dynamics.
Fluency in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.
