Romazzino A Belmond Hotel, located in the stunning Costa Smeralda, is looking for a talented Telephone Operator to join our team for the 2025 season. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all telephone and email communications, helping maintain a dynamic and well-organized work environment. You will work closely with the Front Office team and contribute to the smooth daily operations, ensuring a high standard of service and guest satisfaction.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Handle all switchboard operations according to company standards and procedures.
2. Manage and supervise all incoming requests from guests and colleagues.
3. Provide support to the Front Office team, ensuring seamless communication between departments.
4. Manage and update all guest details accurately in company systems.
5. Ensure that all guest messages are delivered accurately and promptly.
6. Adhere to hotel procedures for handling emergency and safety situations.
7. Provide guests with detailed information about the hotel’s services and features.
8. Communicate clearly and effectively, ensuring messages are transmitted accurately.
9. Demonstrate excellent listening skills to understand guests' and colleagues’ needs and provide appropriate responses.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector is preferred.
2. Fluency in Italian and English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
3. Strong oral communication skills and a clear, professional telephone manner.
4. Excellent listening skills to understand the needs of guests and colleagues and respond appropriately.
5. Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor, even during busy or challenging situations.
6. Proficiency in hotel systems and basic computer applications.
7. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
8. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
