Converger Spa, an IT Consulting Company, is looking for an important multinational company:

Network Installation Technician

A professional specialized in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of networking devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and other telecommunications equipment such as LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi networks, and major connectivity technologies.

Role and Responsibilities

His main task is to ensure the proper functioning of network infrastructure; his responsibilities include:

1. Installation and Configuration.
2. Installation and physical connection of network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, access points, network servers).
3. Initial configuration of devices, setting IP addresses, subnet masks, gateways, and VLANs.
4. Installation of software and firmware updates for proper operation of equipment.

Technical Skills

1. Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, VPN, MPLS).
2. Experience with equipment from manufacturers such as Cisco, MikroTik, Juniper, Ubiquiti, HP, and others.
3. Configuration of wired and wireless networks.
4. Use of network diagnostic tools (Wireshark, Ping, Traceroute, SNMP).
5. Ability to read schematics and technical documentation.

Soft Skills

1. Problem solving and ability to work under pressure.
2. Attention to detail and accuracy in installation and configuration.
3. Ability to work in a team and communicate with customers and colleagues.
4. Flexibility and availability for after-hours or on-site work.

Tools Used

Hardware:

1. Routers, switches, firewalls (Cisco, MikroTik, Juniper, Fortinet, HP, Ubiquiti)
2. Ethernet cables, fiber optics, Wi-Fi access points
3. Network testers, crimpers, fiber optic pliers.

Software:

1. CLI console (PuTTY, SecureCRT)
2. Diagnostic tools (Wireshark, Nmap, NetFlow).

The role requires the use of the English language at an advanced C1/C2 level.

Location and working arrangements: onsite travel in Rome, Aprilia, and Latina (essential to be self-driving).
