YOUR TEAM
You’d be working in a multi-disciplinary group, where people with different backgrounds collaborate, each with their own expertise, to carry out the research.Optical Approaches to Brain Function Research Line is coordinated by Dr. Tommaso Fellin and focuses on understanding the cellular and circuit mechanisms underlying sensory perception by developing new optical methods.
Within the team, your main responsibilities will be:
- Maintain the functionality of the optical instruments
- Provide support to the development of novel optical methodologies
- Contribute to the assembly of optical devices based on established methods
- Support researchers and contribute to the application of optical devices for neuroscience experiments
- Support the research within potential industrial collaborations
- Assistance with ordering of reagents, consumables and durables
- CAD design and 3D printing of small laboratory prototypes
WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU SHINE
- A Master or Bachelor degree in Physics, Engineering or a similar discipline
- Documented experience in Applied Optics
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Accuracy, precision, and good analytical skills
