Technical Support Representative

Our client, in South Burlington, VT is seeking a technical support representative to join their team. As a technical support representative, you will be the support person for those that are having trouble with their products or services they purchased and help them resolve issues.

Job Title: Technical Support Representative

Location: South Burlington VT

Pay Range: Tiered Pay out, Starting around 17.50 an hour, for the first 30-60 days then when training is complete, you move up to 18-19 an hour, then at 90 days 20-21 an hour.

What’s the Job?

1. Be able to explain product warranties and answer service questions
2. Enter service requests and calls into database
3. Set up and call and make appointments for customers
4. Actively listen and ask questions to determine the best outcome
5. Use inventory control and shipping software to process orders

What’s Needed?

1. Preferred at least 3-6 months experience in a similar field
2. Able to handle sales, upselling, returns, warranties, and credits
3. Ability to assemble and reassemble products and explain them
4. Ability to communicate effectively
5. Adequate attendance is needed
