Tax & Accounting Manager

The Company has been active since the 1970s under the chairmanship of Francesco Casoli. Over 3000 employees play their part in helping us produce about 17 million items a year between hoods and electric motors. Our production platform centres around five countries including Italy, Poland, Mexico and China and makes us the outright leaders in the world in the sector of hoods and among the leaders in Europe in the design, production and distribution of electric motors for hoods and heating system boilers.

We are currently in the process of recruiting a candidate to cover a position of Tax & Accounting Manager.

MISSION:

He/She guarantees Elica’s best possible tax structure over time and in compliance with regulations. In addition, acts as a focal point for group tax issues, providing support where necessary, while ensuring compliance with best practices and accounting procedures in order to have reliable accounting documents.

MAIN TASK AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Build an optimal tax structure for Elica Group;
• Develop and maintain over time an accounting model that guarantees maximum data reliability;
• Support the different areas of the business in strategic decisions through correct accounting interpretation, respecting best practices;
• Provide support and coordination to local tax departments;
• Collaborate with the Logistics area to ensure compliance with customs regulations;
• Manage the Transfer Pricing policy at Group level;
• Support Management during strategic decision-making processes by providing alternative tax scenarios;
• Support corporate functions in obtaining subsidised loans, grants, tax credits and other facilities;
• Ensure the correct preparation of tax forms and their submission to the relevant authorities;
• Act as a point of reference for the tax authorities;
• Ensure the delivery of accounting reports reliably and on time;
• Ensure the application of best practices in accounting flows;
• Maintain proper bookkeeping books (e.g. asset book, journal, etc.);
• Support the local Finance Managers, together with the Statutory Reporting & Compliance function, in accounting activities by defining centralised guidelines.

Requisiti:

• Master's degree in Business, Finance or similar;
• Professional working proficiency in both Italian and English are a must-have;
• Good knowledge of Office Suite (especially Excel);
• In-depth knowledge of SAP, particularly of modules relevant to the role;
• At least 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in international companies, with a proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams;
• Strategic thinking and problem solving skills will complete the profile.
