Aiming to strengthen our Automotive Department for an important project based in Modena area, Italy, we are recruiting a

SYSTEM ENGINEER – AUTOMOTIVE ETHERNET

Work Location: Italy, Modena Area

Role Overview:

The selected resource, acting within a dynamic and challenging R&D Automotive Dept., will contribute to the following tasks:

1. Definition, development and maintenance of diagnostic specifications/requirements for CAN and Automotive Ethernet;
2. Development of ECUs diagnostics specification and requirements;
3. Development and maintenance of OTA services;
4. Management, development and maintenance of rules for Automotive Ethernet;
5. Development of Ethernet specification for ECUs;
6. Definition of validation test cases;
7. Definition of specification documents for SOME/IP;
8. Management and maintenance of rules for existing architectures (gateway, mirroring, E2E etc).

Skills/Requirements:

1. BSc/MSc Engineering Degree (Electronic/Mechatronic, Automation, TLC) or similar background;
2. 1+ years of experience in the management and development of embedded electronic systems (Infotainment, Connectivity, HMI) within Automotive environment;
3. Knowledge of Automotive product development processes;
4. Change Management Flow and Supplier’s activities steering;
5. Knowledge of Automotive communication protocols and vehicle buses (CAN, LIN, MOST, Ethernet);
6. Knowledge of Atlassian Framework (Jira), Polarion;
7. Experience with test benches and validation activities, including bugs analysis.

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €25,000.00 - €35,000.00 per year
