The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the production planning process to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.

Based on needs coming from forecast provided by Central Deland Planning Ppt and in collaboration with other Supply Chain functions and with Purchasing Dpt, is ensuring that the production planning process runs smoothly and efficiently. He/She is taking care of inventory management, based on Cooperate Targets. Strategize and optimize Supply Chain production planning performances and materials flow.

The Job (responsibilities):

  • Accountable for the development and deployment of production schedules based on demand forecast, inventory levels and production capacity.
  • Adjust production plans as necessary to accommodate changes in demand, supply chain disruptions or production issues.
  • Collaborate with Operations to support short-medium-and long-term organizational goals and help to resolve foreseeable capacity or resources constraints definition.
  • Analyze Supply Chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvements.
  • Prepare regular reports on Supply Chain performance metrics.
  • Monitor and analyze customer demand, forecast and requirements to ensure accurate production planning and inventory management.
  • Use data to make informed decisions and recommendations for process improvement. Support development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) and consolidating Company performance reports from various departments.
  • Work to maintain the Master Production Schedule to the shop floor; coordinates with production functions to ensure customer on-time delivery performance.
  • Develop and implement inventory strategy to ensure materials availability and adequate inventory level to support sales strategy and customer long-term contracts while minimizing inventory impact.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to review production schedules, address issues and update stakeholders on progress.
  • Understand goals of operation associates, Production Manager and Quality to ensure proper mix of products, balancing efficiency, inventory and service level (UFR) goals.
  • Determine and implement safety stock as needed to ensure consistent supply. Work closely with Finance Dpt for inventory control and financial reporting related to supply chain activities.
  • Responsible for providing daily leadership and operational direction to all assigned supply chain personnel.

The Person (requirements):

Higher Degree – relevant: supply chain or logistics

Min 3-5 years’ working experience in supply chain or related in manufacturing area

Strong Italian and English language skills

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Ability to work across multiple locations
