This position reports to

Global Category Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for data management, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations that support Procurement department activities. Each day, you will lead/support process improvement teams. You will also showcase your expertise by developing and communicating periodic trend and performance reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. The work model for the role is: #hybrid. This role is contributing to the Electrification business area in Vittuone. You will be mainly accountable for:

1. Supporting the development and implementation of regional/global sourcing strategies in close alignment with the global Category leader.
2. Negotiating agreements with main suppliers and periodically renewing pricelists, terms, and conditions.
3. Running benchmark studies for the category team and for specific sourcing initiatives.
4. Creating local contract amendments to frame agreements on behalf of a country and updating/maintaining frame contracts.
5. Supporting regional/global sourcing initiatives within a defined set of categories, working closely with key stakeholders to implement regional category strategies.
6. On-boarding new suppliers in close collaboration with the respective local buyer and running regular supplier evaluations and providing supplier reports to Businesses and Category Managers.
7. Fostering communication internally, externally, and between different Divisions, Business Units, and Functions and supporting the implementation of PL activities and initiatives in the Region/Country through this clear communication.

Qualifications for the role

• Highly skilled in team working and flexibility.
• Possess enhanced knowledge of Office suite, Teams, and PowerBI.
• Degree in Management or Mechanical Engineering, Economy, or STEM.
• You are at ease communicating in Italian and English both written and spoken.
