The National Account Executive (NAE) is responsible for developing relationships with strategic account customers and identifying new volume opportunities within those companies.
This involves strategy sessions with the Area Sales Manager (ASM) and Enterprise Account Managers (EAMs) and networking with decision makers to reveal additional sources of revenue utilizing UPS’s portfolio (e.g., small package, freight, etc.) of products and services. He/She addresses operation disconnects and systemic service issues and updates reports to inform management of sales progress.
The National Account Executive will address basic service or billing-related issues in order to focus on securing additional business opportunities within their customer base.
