Stage Data Analyst

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

As a Data Analyst Intern in our team, you will witness the digital transformation of IKEA Italia Distribution by making better and faster decisions, enabling the availability and accuracy of data to relevant stakeholders that drive business, strategy, and customer experience.
What you’ll be doing day to day:

1. Support our team in the following activities:
2. Develop, maintain, and update a KPIs Dashboard that includes all relevant Operational and non-Operational metrics using Power BI or similar tools.
3. Evaluate the potential and usability of pre-processed, structured internal and external data sources.
4. Enable data sharing with the management and relevant internal and external stakeholders.
5. Contribute to decision making according to IKEA Values and Business goals.
6. Contribute to continuous development of processes by providing relevant insights.
7. Conduct advanced data exploration and analysis using modern tools and techniques.
8. Consolidate and re-organize available information and data in a more effective and efficient way.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in information technology or engineering.
2. Passionate about Data and Supply Chain.
3. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel.
4. Knowledge of Power BI (or previous experience developing and publishing Power BI reports and dashboards) is a plus.
5. Familiarity with SQL language, databases, and data warehousing concepts.
6. Analytical and structured approach.
7. Ability to perform work with a balanced trade-off between speed and detail to get rapid insights when needed.
8. Ability to work in a team and with cross-functional departments.
9. Good English communication skills (B2 LEVEL).
10. Willingness to work in an international dynamic environment with different stakeholders.
11. Innovative way of thinking: you have the courage to question existing solutions to find new, more efficient ways to act and improve processes.
