Sr. Process Improvement Specialist, EU PE LEAN
Amazon is seeking a Sr. EU PE Six Sigma Black Belt (Process Improvement Specialist) to work in the EU Process Engineering (EU PE) Lean Team. The Process Improvement Specialist III (PIS) works alongside the FC Senior Leadership Team, while keeping high collaboration with both EU PE and other central functions. This role is responsible for driving high-quality initiatives that embed lean culture within operational teams, aiming to seed meaningful lean knowledge and approaches in our fulfillment network. PIS invests effort in promoting impactful, quality work with deep-level PE involvement that moves the needle for our FC, minimizing PE and Ops dilution across initiatives. PIS works to reduce complexity in key touchpoints with our partners through simpler reporting, removing overlap/inconsistencies in data sources & targets, and continuously simplifying via customer feedback.
This is a fully on-site role, requiring physical presence at one of our sites five days a week. The role can be based in either Passo Corese, Colleferro, or Agognate.
The EU Process Engineering (EU PE) team is a group of operational leaders driving process stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement for the EU Customer Fulfillment Network. This team is essential to establish best-in-class process performance across all different direct and indirect processes, accelerate implementation of technological advancements, and strengthen the technical acumen and process knowledge for the operational leaders across the FC network.
EU PE ensures the operations teams are equipped with the functional expertise to successfully deliver expected gains for technology advances and network-wide process improvements. The team drives process control and shifting mean performance with the outcome of minimizing variation between shifts, building, and region, to deliver strong performance. The team works closely with Process System Engineering (PSE), ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence System - Operational Excellence) PM, Central Ops, launch teams, operations engineering, and reliability and maintenance (RME) teams to improve the input metrics for each of the process paths by prioritizing and channeling resources.
