Solution Architect

Role purpose:

The Technology Architecture Lead focuses on developing strategies to align and integrate complex IT landscapes. Key tasks include designing enterprise architectures, communicating strategies to stakeholders, and integrating siloed solutions. It also involves supporting cloud transitions, managing changes, and conducting risk assessments. Innovation and collaboration with Product Managers and clients are essential to meet industry best practices.

Key Accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Develop and implement strategies to align and integrate complex IT application landscapes (Connected Mobility Platform, Business Support Platform).
• Utilize architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) to design and maintain robust enterprise architectures, documenting technical architecture, business data models, and APIs.
• Communicate architectural concepts and strategies to stakeholders effectively.
• Identify application impacts during the preliminary estimation phase of every project, design the High-Level Architecture, and prepare the integration needs list.
• Support delivery processes by reviewing end-to-end architecture implementation and ensuring alignment with the original solution design.
• Support the transition of applications to cloud services by developing strategies for this transformation. Once the framework is established, handle future changes, new requirements, execute reviews, and conduct risk assessments.
• Act as a cutting-edge innovator who continually studies new technologies and functionalities, pushing the capabilities of emerging technologies.

Other Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

• Extensive experience in business processes: Proven track record in companies with high technological content, particularly in the Telco & Media and Automotive industries.
• Expertise in various technological domains: Strong knowledge of Edge Computing (IoT devices), Big Data and AI, Business Support Systems (CRM, order management, billing), and Cloud Infrastructure.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture: Well-versed in enterprise architecture design principles and patterns.
• Proficiency in digital integration technologies: Skilled in digital integration technologies (APIs, streaming/queuing systems) and digital channel technologies (portals, mobile apps, CRM).
• Results-driven: Demonstrated strong results orientation.
• High performance under pressure: Capable of delivering high performance under work pressure, managing priority changes, and resolving project conflicts.
• Experience requirement: At least 7 years of experience in IT and process roles.
• Language proficiency: Fluent in English & Italian.
• Interpersonal skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of an international team.
• Communication skills: Strong communication and relational skills at both technical and business levels.
