NABA is currently seeking motivated individuals for the role of:
Social Media Specialist
The successful candidate will join our team in Milan and will report hierarchically to the External Relations and Customer Engagement Senior Manager. The candidate will manage all social media activities, ensuring the development of social media strategy and setting goals to increase brand awareness and engagement.
The selected candidate will carry out the following activities:
- Elaborate institutional content for various social platforms based on PR and Communication’s unit and Faculty input.
- Create autonomously social media strategies on all platforms.
- Combine creativity and marketing strategy to develop a dynamic and engaging online presence, both at an institutional level and with a strong focus on brand growth and conversions.
- Apply SEO and SEM techniques to enhance visibility and optimize social media content for organic traffic with the help of a SEO copywriter.
- Manage the schedule of live-stream events.
- Manage and monitor all social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitch, YouTube, LinkedIn, ensuring consistency with the brand identity, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
- Stay up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
- Identify and analyze new social media platforms, evaluate their potential and effectiveness by trying to rewrite NABA language in these new social languages.
- Monitor the company’s social media presence and performance using various tools.
- Report on target audience preferences, engagement, and activities.
Requirements:
- University degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities.
- Fluency in both written and spoken Italian and English is required.
- Experience in managing online communities, responding to comments, questions, and engaging with the audience.
- Ability to analyze social media performance data using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights, YouTube Studio, LinkedIn Insights, etc.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and coordinating with internal and external teams (e.g., photographers, graphic designers, external agencies).
- Creative thinking and ability to develop engaging content.
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage social media crises effectively.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Storytelling and tone of voice adaptation skills across various social media platforms.
- Aptitude for working with specific goals and monitoring performance, with a focus on continuous improvement of key metrics (e.g., engagement, conversions, audience growth).
- Budget management (nice to have, but not mandatory).
Tools knowledge:
- Sprout Social or another all-in-one social media management platform.
- CapCut, Canva, Inshot, or Splice (video and photo editing).
Nice to have:
- Semrush (content marketing).
- Open Broadcaster Software (livestreaming).
- YouTube Streaming Studio (livestreaming).
- Spreaker (podcasting).
- Free CMS WordPress.
