As part of the Marketing Department, Social Media team, you will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions:
The Social Media Senior Specialist will execute Sephora Italia's social media planning across all platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Threads, X, Pinterest, Facebook, and YouTube). This role is responsible for overseeing social media content production, editorial planning and performance analysis to drive key performance indicators and achieve business objectives.
Key Activities/Responsibilities
- Editorial Strategy & Content Calendar Management:
- Implement the overall editorial strategy and content calendar for all social media channels, collaborating with internal and external resources.
- Develop and execute content calendar aligned with business priorities and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, PR, Digital PR) and external resources (e.g., agencies, Sephora headquarters, freelancers) to ensure seamless execution of the social media strategy.
- Continuously monitor social media performance, analyze key metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, etc.), and provide regular reports with actionable insights. Identify areas for improvement and propose data-driven solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, tools, and industry best practices. Monitor competitors and proactively identify opportunities to innovate and enhance Sephora Italia's social media presence.
- Content Creation & Curation:
- Oversee the production of engaging, high-quality, and original social media content, including managing the monthly social media photoshoot.
- Review and approve all third-party content for publication on Sephora Italia's social channels, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and overall strategy.
- Collaborate closely with the PR and Digital PR team to develop influencer and creator collaborations, maximizing synergy and reach across owned and third-party channels.
- Community Management:
- Monitor social media conversations and sentiment related to Sephora Italia, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
Who we are looking for:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in managing social media for a brand, preferably in the beauty or retail industry.
- In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
- Experience using social media management and analytics tools.
- Fluent in English
- Passion for Beauty industry is a plus
- Ability to create engaging social media content and use of editing tools is a plus.
