THE SUMMARY

The Social Media and Ambassador Manager will manage and drive Castelli’s global social media strategy and execution, including content creation and ambassador management.

We are looking for someone extremely passionate about cycling, industry trends, and social media technology.

The Social Media and Ambassador Manager will execute campaigns to increase brand awareness, improve brand perception, and drive product campaigns across various channels and touchpoints.

This position will involve a unique degree of collaboration with individuals across the organization (global marketing office, subsidiaries, ambassadors, industry partners, and the e-commerce manager) to deliver results while telling the Castelli brand story and values in a differentiated and powerful way.

The candidate will plan, lead, and execute a well-structured brand ambassador program to increase brand awareness, reach, and customer engagement.

The candidate will play a critical role within Castelli’s organization and be an integral part of a small team that sits at the heart of the brand, known for consistently delivering best-in-class content. Additionally, the Social Media Manager will represent the brand to Castelli’s online community, influencers, industry partners, and athletes.


THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Global Social Media

  • Manage all Castelli social media channels, team members, and campaigns to engage customers and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and execute social media content strategy with clear goals per channel.
  • Work with the marketing team to create social content to improve performance ce and channel optimization.
  • Recommend and execute content ideas in support of driving brand awareness and consideration.
  • Grow the audiences and engagement of all social media channels through managed editorial, organic, and paid campaigns.
  • Engage with customers and followers.
  • Monitor users' engagement and conversations and identify relevant engagement opportunities.
  • Align our brand with new and emerging trends.
  • Identify new channels to embed our brand that align with our marketing direction.
  • Glean insights from social data using monitoring tools.
  • Analyze and provide a performance report.
  • Define KPIs and KRAs for social media campaigns.
  • Work cross-functionally with global marketing and DTC teams, and product insights to deliver premium and innovative leadership content and accurate positioning of the brand and products.
  • Continually raise the bar on developing compelling, data-driven storytelling with an executive customer focus.
  • Coordinate execution of high-quality content; including photos, videos, and editorial blog.
  • Present story ideas, prepare briefing documents and scripts, and partner on editorial reviews and stories.
  • Develop content or assign tasks to content developers (internal and external content creators)
  • Create product experiences/stories that delight fans, customers, prospects, and partners.
  • Lead community-building efforts.
  • Communicate effectively to all stakeholders, including senior management and content developers.
  • Work with countries to build their Castelli presence on social media, as well as monitor, train, and share best practices and policies with them.
  • Can manage multiple balls in the air without breaking a sweat.
  • Follow cycling racing in all disciplines and provide digital and social media coverage of key races and events (working on weekends and travel is required).

Brand Ambassador

  • Optimize and grow our global brand ambassador program to ensure the highest quality content for our marketing channels.
  • Coordinate product launches and communication planners with influencers.
  • Monitor and develop reports on campaign performance.
  • Establish relationships with social media influencers to develop a strong network.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 to 3 years of experience managing social media for a brand, retailer, or agency is a must; cycling industry experience is preferred.
  • High level of energy, passion, and enthusiasm for cycling.
  • Experience creating social content from ideation to design direction and execution.
  • Excellent Italian and English verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present in public.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, content creation, community management, analytics tools, and copywriting is crucial.
  • Strong project management skills to ensure all deadlines are met and communicated.
  • Prior experience identifying, negotiating/signing, and managing brand ambassadors.
  • Experience with multiple social media platforms, Meta Creative Suite, Adobe CC, and third-party monitoring/posting platforms is crucial.
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and collaborate with Castelli countries and outside agencies/vendors.
  • Willingness to travel and work outside normal business hours.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good knowledge of at least one other language beyond Italian and English, preferably Italian.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business.
