For a prestigious Italian multinational group, a Leader in the food sector, we are looking for a brilliant:

SENIOR STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEER

The profile we are looking for will work with the head of the R&D department to create new products and designs, review existing ones, and provide support for installation through the writing of technical documentation.

Main responsibilities:

• Fully understand customer requests in terms of content, performance, quality, reliability, engineering standards, requirements, and dimensional limitations, etc.
• Share and develop technical knowledge and skills while collaborating with our customers.
• Develop and verify the feasibility of costs and the reliability of mechanical product designs using CAD tools.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Provide design support during the post-production phase.
• Provide guidance and technical support for resolving interdepartmental and customer-related issues, as required.
• Perform design activities to achieve cost-effectiveness between quality, design, and production in accordance with engineering and design standards.
• Create and assist in the creation of bills of materials.
• Support the development of production/manufacturing in our facility.

We are interested in hiring candidates with:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or similar fields.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, preferably within the electromechanical sector in household appliances and/or coffee machines or similar.
• A good knowledge of CAD/SolidWorks/PDM with related product lifecycle management (PLM) and MRO/ERP (Data management) systems.
• Experience with CEI EN 60335-X standards.
• Familiarity with R&D product development methods.
• A solution-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
