Senior Specialist - Product Designer (UX/UI)

We are looking for a Product Designer (UX/UI) to join our Experience Design Factory (XDF) team, part of the Digital & Customer Operations department at Sky Italia. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing user-centered experiences across our digital products. You will work closely with the Product Design Lead, Product Managers, Developers, and our UX Researchers, ensuring that insights and data drive our design decisions to create meaningful experiences for customers and the business.

This position is ideal for designers with 4+ years of experience who possess expert-level design execution skills, work in cross-functional environments and excel in translating user insights into scalable, data-informed design solutions.

Main Responsibilities

• Take ownership of end-to-end design execution, ensuring high-quality output and usability.
• Design user experiences for both web and mobile applications, maintaining consistency across platforms.
• Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to deliver seamless and engaging user interactions.
• Support usability evaluations and data-driven design improvements.
• Contribute to design system refinement, ensuring consistency and scalability across digital products.
• Stay up to date with experience design best practices, accessibility standards, and industry trends.

Main UX Qualifications

• 3/4+ years of experience in UX/UI or Product Design, with a strong portfolio showcasing digital product design for both web and app platforms.
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including components, variables, auto-layout, prototyping, and design system management.
• Strong understanding of interaction design, usability heuristics, and accessibility principles.
• Ability to interpret UX research findings and apply them to design decisions.
• Deep familiarity with design systems and ability to work within and contribute to existing frameworks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in agile teams and cross-functional environments.
• Confidence with main graphic tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Familiarity with motion design and micro-interactions to enhance user experience.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate with developers.
• Knowledge of iOS and Android design guidelines.
• Experience with user behavior analysis tools.
• Fluent English.

Design Proficiency

• Creating information architectures, user flows, and task analyses for multi-device digital products.
• Designing wireframes, sitemaps, and interactive prototypes with a focus on usability and engagement.
• Developing responsive and mobile-first interfaces that align with accessibility standards.

Content Writing

• Knowledge of UX writing and content strategy principles.
• Experience on content creation projects.

User Research Collaboration

• Partnering with our UX Research team to leverage insights and drive user-centered design decisions.
• Applying heuristic evaluations, usability findings and competitive analysis to inform design improvements.
• Integrating research results into product roadmaps and design iterations.

Functional Specification

• Defining design specifications and documentation to ensure smooth collaboration with developers.
• Ensuring designs meet business goals, technical constraints, and user expectations.

Data Analysis

• Using quantitative and qualitative analytics tools to inform design decisions.
• Iterating on designs based on quantitative and qualitative testing results, heatmaps, and user behavior tracking.

Best Practices & Design Consistency

• Conducting benchmarking and industry research to ensure innovation and UX excellence.
• Maintaining brand consistency and aligning design choices with business objectives.
