Are you passionate about building customer trust and protecting online shoppers? Join our team as a Senior Risk Manager for a key customer trust feature in Amazon stores worldwide. You'll play a crucial role in safeguarding our product pages and enhancing the shopping experience.
In this position, you'll collaborate with multiple teams to lead compliance related positive changes in our product. You will drive the implementation of compliance initiatives to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices. You will lead the identification, assessment, and monitoring of key risk indicators, areas of improvements, recommend and implement appropriate action. Your work will directly impact millions of customers, ensuring they have a safe and trustworthy shopping experience on Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
This position involves travel (up to 20% of the time), primarily within Europe with occasional trips to international locations.

About the team
At Amazon, we believe customer trust is paramount. The EU Trustworthy Shopping Experience team works with authorities, merchants, brands, vendors, and customers to identify and prevent Selling Partner risk. We also address infringements of intellectual property (e.g., counterfeit, trademark, copyright) and other abuses in our product catalog.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship.
Excellent client service and negotiation skills with knowledge of contract law.
Track record in procurement strategy development and implementation.
Experience in compliance, auditing, risk management, product or program management, or business management with negotiations and delivering results experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree or equivalent
Experience engaging with regulatory agencies in permit applications or equivalent.
Experience developing and implementing of standards, policies and programs or equivalent.
Experience working with Product Safety and / or Testing Laboratories in EU / UK.
