Senior Project Manager (Construction)

Location: US - Remote with Travel

Salary: $150K to $180K + Bonus

Kinekta are currently working with an IPP who are hiring a Senior Project Manager to join their team focusing on the construction process of utility-scale solar projects across the US. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing multiple job sites, a proven track record in the renewable energy sector, and the ability to oversee and coordinate with construction managers.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee multiple utility-scale solar and BESS projects across the U.S. simultaneously.
2. Develop, implement, and manage project safety programs to ensure a secure work environment, fostering a culture of safety through mentorship and leadership.
3. Conduct regular site safety inspections, participate in progress meetings, implementing necessary adjustments to meet safety regulations and environmental standards.
4. Manage and coordinate design deliverables to support permitting, procurement, shop drawings, off-site production, construction, and commissioning, ensuring alignment with client approvals.
5. Supervise the project team, client representatives, consultants, and trade contractors, promoting clear communication and strong collaboration.

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience managing the construction process for utility-scale renewables in the US through to commissioning.
2. Ability to monitor complex project budgets and schedules and create and schedule a project.
3. Bachelor's degree in a related field or a PMP.
4. Proficiency in project management software.
5. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
