YOUR ROLE AT KIKO

We are looking for a Senior Packaging Designer, to join KIKO MILANO’s Global Creative Services Department and reporting to the Packaging Design Manager and to the Global Head of Creative Services.

Such talent creates, presents and crafts all the creativity for the packaging of make-up and skin care products and KIKO collections. From concept presentations to execution of primary and secondary packaging, the Senior Packaging Designer will: create prototypes of packaging and shapes, lead print trials and color proofs, make graphic design for secondary packaging and overview print productions.

In particular, you will:

• Visualize creative concepts and designs for primary and secondary packaging.
• Create original designs for products and collections that are compliant with target, quality and production requirements.
• Ensure creativity and designs are compliant with the brand guidelines and style guide.
• Guarantee that all concept presentations created for packaging designs are presented to all marketing leaders.
• Supervise and lead state of the art adaptations of designs and ensure impeccable release of final artwork files created by graphic designers and packaging artworkers for production.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• At least 10 years of proven experience on the packaging design and graphic design fields.
• Graphic Design or Product Design bachelor’s degree.
• Education in printed arts, color management and product and graphic design.
• Creative and Design thinking methodology
• Expert level of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator e Acrobat)
• Expertise in offset printing process, digital printing process, papers and paperboards, decorations techniques, inks and all matters related to creating and producing secondary packaging
• Excellent taste in colour, its application, combination, and creation across diverse materials.
• Good knowledge of primary packaging production processes and decoration techniques.
• Knowledge of Rhinoceros and 3D modelling software is a plus
• Fluency in Italian and English
