As a Senior Mechanical/Piping Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing compliance with project specifications, codes, standards, and regulations as per the contractual obligation of the project.
• Conducting inspections to ensure proper installation, alignment, and functionality of mechanical/piping equipment and systems as per the approved Inspection Test Plan.
• Maintaining detailed records of inspections as per Inspection Test Reports and Non-Conformities. Generate reports highlighting findings, deviations, punch lists and corrective actions taken or required.
• Participating in quality audits and reviews, ensuring that mechanical systems meet established quality standards and requirements depends on the project progress or as per PQP (Project Quality Plan).
• Collaborating with project managers, project planners, engineers, supervisors for constructions, contractors, and subcontractors to address quality-related issues, provide guidance, and ensure alignment with project plans.
• Identifying potential risks or deficiencies in mechanical systems, propose risk mitigation strategies, and contribute to risk assessment processes.
• Providing guidance and training to contractors and subcontractors on quality control standards and procedures. Enforce compliance with established quality control processes.
• Investigating and address non-conformities, discrepancies, or deficiencies promptly. Propose and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
• Ensuring that all mechanical works adhere to safety regulations and protocols. Verify that installations meet safety standards and guidelines.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and suggestions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of quality control processes.
• Conducting final inspections of mechanical systems before shipment to verify completion and compliance with project specifications.
• Following and maintaining BH standards of Quality in accordance with Quality System requirements.
• Maintaining standards of safety and comply with BH Health, Safety and Environment Management System requirements.
• Taking reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have good experience of inspection experience for a senior inspector.
• Have good knowledge of quality industrial standards and General knowledge of construction of modules.
• Have welding certification and/or other specific credentials [ II level of Non-Destructive Test, Penetrant liquids Method (PT) / Visual Method (VT)/ Radiographic Test (RT)].
• Have supervisory experience directing craft and technical field crews.
• Have knowledge and compliance of workplace health and safety standards.
• Have knowledge of QMS (Quality Management System) and ISO standards.
• Have good English communication skills both oral and written.
• Have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
