Scope of Position: This position will establish procurement governance and best practices across our decentralized structure, while also leading strategic sourcing and negotiations for high spend areas and critical contracts. This position will serve as a trusted business partner to WinShape ministries and support services, and train local teams to ensure compliance and maximize value.

Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across ministries and support service to understand their procurement requirements and gain alignment with business goals
Develop and deploy a comprehensive procurement governance framework, including policies, procedures, tools, and guidelines, that balance local autonomy with organizational oversight
Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities for procurement activities across the organization
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track procurement activities across the organization
Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement activities adhere to regulations and policies
Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing across the procurement network
Provide ongoing support and guidance to local procurement personnel, acting as a center of excellence and trusted partner
Perform procurement analytics to identify and prioritize strategic sourcing opportunities
Lead the sourcing and negotiation process for high-value contracts and strategic categories, leveraging market intelligence and data analysis to achieve desired balance in quality, pricing, and terms
Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaborative partnerships that drive innovation and value creation
Develop and deploy training programs and resources to empower local teams to effectively manage their procurement needs
Implement and manage procurement technology solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
MBA preferred
Requires 7+ years of progressing procurement related experience with a strong emphasis on strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management
Combination of corporate and non-profit experience, preferred
Strong experience as a business partner to functional business operations
Excellent analytical skills and strong business acumen
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Possesses the ability to use discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information
Demonstrates moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
