The candidate supports scientific operations by addressing their informatics needs, including analysis, design, implementation, validation, and maintenance of scientific systems and applications, for both commercial and bespoke solutions; designs and implements software programs and scripts as needed. Collaborates directly with end-users for business/demand analysis; assists with the deployment and maintenance of laboratory systems, ensuring compliance with user security and data integrity transfer requirements; contributes to international corporate informatics initiatives/projects; works closely with and aligns efforts alongside other R&D IT team members; operates with a good or high degree of autonomy, depending on the seniority.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide informatics support for deploying scientific applications and laboratory systems; ensure systems perform as intended; troubleshoot issues; and maintain system documentation.
Act as validation project manager for small laboratory systems.
Engage with internal end-users and/or suppliers to gather requirements, design systems, and conduct user acceptance IT testing.
Ensure compliance with the internal Computer System Quality Management framework.
Provide on-call support as required.
Education and Skills:
Bachelor of Computer Science
Software and Unit Testing development (coding)
Knowledge of full stack engineering with modules on both front and back-end processes
