Senior Front End Developer (React)

We're R5 Labs, the tech company behind Edgemony and Product Heroes! We're looking for a talented Front End Developer to join our remote team and help major American fintech companies bring their products to life. This is a pivotal role where you'll make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

1. UI/UX Development: Create modern and visually appealing user interfaces for web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.
2. React Expertise: Leverage your in-depth knowledge of React to develop responsive front-end components.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with remote cross-functional teams, including designers and back-end developers, to deliver high-quality front-end solutions.
4. Optimization: Optimize web applications for maximum performance and responsiveness.
5. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to maintain the integrity of the front-end codebase.
6. Client Engagement: Collaborate with our American fintech clients to understand their requirements and implement front-end solutions that meet their needs.

Requirements:

1. At least 3+ years of experience in a Frontend project.
2. Knowledge of spoken and written English.
3. You've written Javascript/Typescript professionally.
4. You have a good grasp of Functional Programming and Design Driven Development.
5. You have experience with at least one statically-typed language.
6. You get a kick out of mentoring and empowering the team around you.
7. You have a deep understanding of how distributed applications are designed and built.
8. You know good technical design when you see it and ensure quality is embedded in the software development process.
9. You're a good communicator, fun to work with and enjoy being part of a vocal, passionate team.
10. You do love Open Source.
