DRIVE YOUR FUTURE
You will be part of an international agile team of data scientists and data engineers. Together you will solve problems and deliver value across R&D, manufacturing, sales & marketing, and connected tyres. You will apply statistical analysis and machine-learning techniques to a wide range of data (from sensors, to telemetry, to manufacturing) and you will change how decisions are made across all business units.

YOUR CORE ACTIVITIES
You will be in charge of coming up with effective and scalable solutions that, leveraging internal and external data, will answer questions such as:

1. How can we optimize our supply chain flow in a particular geographic region?
2. How can we build an effective and scalable real-time monitoring system for production quality control?
3. How can we use IoT data to derive crucial insights and deliver impactful results?
4. How to improve B2C services with data-driven solutions?
5. How to drive new product development?
6. How to design personalized campaigns based on consumer behavior?

• Translate business questions to data science problems, often exploring data and finding insights
• Develop, tune, and deploy custom, scalable, predictive models
• Present to non-technical stakeholders, even complex concepts, in a simple manner
• Manage a data science product end-to-end from concept to production

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Must-have:

1. Excellent knowledge of machine learning models
2. Experience in model development (from business question to the model application)
3. Advanced knowledge of Python
4. Data visualization expertise

Required:

1. Advanced knowledge of SQL
2. Broad knowledge of statistical learning
3. Extensive knowledge of scientific libraries (pandas, scipy, numpy, jupyter), scikit-learn, statsmodels and related machine learning/stats/data mining packages
4. Deep knowledge of applied statistics including multivariate statistical analysis, Bayesian statistics, Time Series analysis
5. Experience in machine learning model deployment
6. Experience with GIT
7. Knowledge of CI/CD

Desired skills:

1. Experience with deep learning
2. Experience in Apache Spark
3. Working experience with AWS cloud framework and services
4. Experience with Docker

Core skills:

1. Ability to effectively communicate findings and rationale behind predictive models implemented to executives and management
2. Ability to communicate and collaborate with other team members

WHAT PUTS YOU IN POLE POSITION

1. Prior experience using agile and scrum
2. Previous experience in professional end-to-end deep learning projects using TensorFlow
