Senior Android Framework Developer

Project Description : This is a good opportunity to participate in the new in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) project for one of the biggest European car makers. This is a very fast-growing project which requires talented software developers and test engineers who like challenges and new cutting-edge technologies. Applicants will have the possibility to gain experience in development or integrating/testing of different functionalities. Candidates will be part of an international team and have the opportunity to work with the latest software technologies like Android Automotive OS.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate and develop solutions for Car Framework & V-HAL development in an embedded environment, ensuring robustness and reusability.
• Develop Embedded Android services and components with AOSP middleware for IVI systems.
• Develop Java middleware Car services to support embedded Android applications.
• Develop HAL for vehicle-specific components.
• Root cause defects and provide robust software solutions.
• Participate in design, documentation, and unit testing to develop software components.

Mandatory Skills Description :

• 5+ years of experience in Java programming.
• Development experience (AOSP) in enhancing Android Framework services to support Android application interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with vendor-specific properties in V-HAL.
• Software development experience on embedded, mobile, or consumer electronic platforms.
• Experience with AOSP internals and Android NDK APIs.
• Experience implementing services.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description :

• Experience & knowledge of Android Automotive.
• Experience in Automotive Infotainment systems.
