Job purpose:

At Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella, we stand out for our excellence, tradition, and innovation, values that inspire every aspect of our work. In this context, we are looking for a Senior Accountant to manage the general accounting of our foreign subsidiaries in the retail sector (England, France and United States), ensuring compliance with local and international accounting and tax regulations. The selected candidate will serve as a key reference for monitoring financial operations, analyzing accounting data, and supporting planning and budgeting activities, contributing to the company’s stability and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities:

• Managing professional relationship with the external accountants
• Supervising annual and interim financial statement closing process
• Management of payments and collections
• Management of tax compliance with the support of external tax advisors

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in managing the general accounting of foreign companies, preferably in the retail sector.
• Excellent English and appreciated knowledge of the French language
• Problem-solving skills
• Appreciated requirements: Knowledge of USA/French and UK accounting and tax regulations, as well as knowledge of the Navision operating system
