The Opportunity
Counter Manager
Location: Rome

What you'll get to do

JOB PURPOSE
To meet and strive to exceed individual and store sales goals while executing key strategies of retail led growth, leveraging the franchise, operational excellence and all department category development; embracing and following on a daily basis the Puig Experience during all interactions, owning the responsibility for developing new customers, as well as maintaining relationships with existing clientele.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Embrace the Brands Experience and follow training guidelines and standards to reflect the brands standards and image.
  2. Consistently meet individual sales goals.
  3. Provide excellent customer service skills, great selling skills and exhibit motivation to succeed.
  4. Demonstrate superior interpersonal and communication talent.
  5. Respect and strictly follow protocols.
  6. Follow company policies, procedures and use visual techniques to maintain the visual standards.
  7. Handle sell in proposals.
  8. Monitor KPI through specific analysis, reporting to the retail manager.
  9. Manage the requests and shifts of the Beauty Advisor Team.
  10. Maintain selling floor by ensuring the following:
    1. Understand and execute monthly floor sets.
    2. Place and/or hang back items as you work.
    3. Replenish merchandise after selling.
    4. Fold and place merchandise on the correct hanger, tissue paper, etc.
    5. Place tickets inside the item and not visible to the customer.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  1. A minimum of 3 years in sales, preferably in a beauty luxury retail environment.
  2. Fluency in Italian and English is a must; other foreign languages are a plus.
  3. Willingness to work in and promote a team-oriented environment.
  4. Mandatory expertise in both Make up and fragrances; certification is considered a plus (e.g., Make up school).
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills required to ensure clear, effective communication with all management and staff.
  6. Must be results-driven and flexible to change.
  7. Proven experience in driving sales and meeting sales targets.
  8. Excellent customer service level.
  9. Strong clienteling background.
