In alignment with the activities of the Manufacturing research group, the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Politecnico di Milano is seeking a full professor to carry out research in the field of advanced manufacturing, with focus in two key technologies: spatial laser beam shaping and new wavelength laser sources. This includes exploring advanced laser technologies for manufacturing and reconditioning components in electric vehicles and microelectronics, to enhance the performance and sustainability of battery systems, e-drive components, and lightweight materials. On these topics, the candidate will be responsible for leading significant research projects at both national and international levels. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to the leadership, promotion, and growth of the research group. The candidate will be involved in teaching manufacturing subjects (SSD IIND-04/A).
