SCIENTIST, siena

For a Pharmaceutical Company, we're looking for a SCIENTIST - CHEMISTRY.

He/She will be able to execute scientific experiments under limited supervision, contributing to the conception, design, and interpretation of scientific data in support of research projects and product development.

Responsibilities:

1. Participate in scientific collaborations and reporting of data in technical reports and scientific journals.
2. Maintain required documentation for processes and equipment.
3. Ensure timely data collection and reporting (including participation in internal/external scientific documents) in the area of responsibility.
4. Contribute to the implementation of project-specific research and publication plans.
5. Represent own team at the technical project team level. Communicate issues proactively and effectively negotiate potential solutions.

Laboratory Skills:

1. Analytical chromatography HPLC-SEC, HPLC-RP, HPAEC-PAD, and process chromatography.
2. Ultrafiltration systems like tangential flow filtration.
3. Glycoconjugate technologies, polysaccharide/protein derivatization, sizing techniques.
4. Polysaccharide and protein analytical characterization.

Minimum Requirements:

1. PhD / MD in Chemistry, CTF, or related fields.
2. At least 2 years of lab experience.
3. Good level of spoken, conversational, and written English.
4. Good communication skills, both oral and written.
5. Ability to present scientific data.
6. Ability to work productively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
7. Good organizational skills and strong ability to multitask.

Temporary contract: 1 year. Expected start date: 03/03/2025.

Location: Siena (Siena).

Availability: Full Time.
