OHB Italia is seeking for its Satellite and Missions Department a Satellite Verification & Validation Manager (M/F) to join a team of system engineers. In this role, you will bring your experience in leading and driving satellite activities throughout the entire project lifecycle, including design, development, integration, verification, launch, and in-orbit operations.

As a V&V manager, you will drive all activities related to the specification, verification, and validation of projects while ensuring adherence to the satellite schedule and budget.

Tasks:

1. Lead the Verification and Validation of small satellites.
2. Coordinate, monitor, and ensure the timely implementation of all relevant V&V activities.
3. Contribute to the preparation of Design, Development, and Verification Plans.
4. Confidently handle development processes (e.g., V-model).
5. Define and manage Model Philosophy and HW matrix.
6. Oversee the requirement specification process, from customer to Equipment level.
7. Contribute to the definition of verification methods and stages.
8. Help define the testing infrastructure (e.g., Flatsat, SCOEs, etc.).
9. Support satellite verification and AIT activities.
10. Prepare and execute system and acceptance tests with customers.
11. Evaluate, log, and assess test results along with documenting deviations.

Qualifications:

1. Strong knowledge of satellite systems engineering, including requirements engineering, functional analysis, and verification control.
2. Experience in satellite verification, including participation in AIT campaigns.
3. Excellent sense of responsibility.
4. 5+ years of hands-on working experience.
5. Structured hands-on work-approach.
6. Highly self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
7. Good interpersonal skills.
8. Fluent in English.
9. University degree (Master/PhD) or equivalent education, plus relevant proven work experience in the industry.
