SAP MM Functional stream leader

I am currently looking for an SAP MM consultant for a major transformation program in the manufacturing sector, involving a Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation.

The project is entering its core model build phase, followed by a pilot in Italy, with a long-term rollout roadmap.

Please find below the details of the opportunity:

Working Model:

1. 3 weeks per month: 3 days/week on-site, 2 days remote
2. 1 week per month fully remote

Expenses: Travel and accommodation reimbursed

Language: English and Italian (both required)

Contract Type: Freelance

Main Responsibilities:

1. Lead and coordinate your functional stream within the S/4HANA implementation
2. Organize and facilitate business and IT workshops (in both English and Italian)
3. Design and validate end-to-end business processes aligned with the global template
4. Collaborate with local and global teams, integration points, and technical streams
5. Contribute to testing, cutover planning, and knowledge transfer

Profile Required:

1. Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP projects
2. Strong expertise in SAP MM, ideally on S/4HANA
3. Proven experience in functional leadership roles within international programs
4. Excellent communication and coordination skills
5. Fluent in English and Italian (mandatory)
6. Based in Italy or a neighboring country is preferred (for travel efficiency)
