Position Summary

Position type: The opportunity offered is a permanent contract under the Chemical Pharmaceutical CCNL (Industry).

About the role: Our sales Specialists are the heart of our LifeScan family. You will have a fundamental role, helping our customers worldwide improve their quality of life. In this role, you will increase sell-out and market share of our products through promotion and sales development to customers in your assigned area, ensuring the achievement of defined objectives. You will build relationships through regular visits to customers in your assigned area (existing and potential), through a consultative approach.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the promotion and development of product sales to customers in your assigned area, ensuring the achievement of defined objectives. Regularly visit customers in your assigned area (existing and potential), through a consultative approach.
  • Collaborate with all company departments to provide transparent feedback supporting the achievement of company objectives.
  • Interact with trade agents operating in the area or business partners, ensuring the most effective management of existing and potential customers.

Your main tasks:

  • Visit acquired and potential customers: Diabetes Services at Hospitals, Polyclinics, Private Nursing Homes, Universities, Local Health Authorities, and retail channels.
  • Collect and discuss with your Superior information on the evolution of the reference market, proposing actions that can best support the achievement of assigned objectives.
  • Maintain close contact with colleagues and business partners operating in the area, to ensure an effective approach to the customer.
  • Stay constantly updated on the evolution of company products/systems and competition through studying educational materials provided by the Company.
  • Constantly monitor the market situation in terms of sell-out in your area, proposing necessary corrective actions to your Superior.
  • The Sales Specialist is responsible for reporting activity tracking, sample distribution, and expense management in the designated systems according to established methods and timelines.
  • In collaboration with the trade agent monitor assigned pharmacies and develop potential pharmacy customers.
  • Perform and complete training and education procedures within the required timeframes.
  • Perform duties with responsibility, diligence, care of company and common assets, in compliance with company guidelines and HCC procedures.

Key Experience Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar position, preferably as a scientific representative (minimum 3 years).

  • Strong communication skills, active listening, and a natural ability to communicate effectively with our doctors, nurses, and pharmacists.
  • Knowledge of corporate sales strategies.
  • Strong digital skills (knowledge of main office packages).
  • Qualified degree.
  • Valid driver's license.
