Job Description:
Sales Manager Power & Electrical Southern Europe
Huntsman is seeking an ambitious and self-motivated Sales Manager with a strong background in the specialty chemicals sector to lead account management and drive business development for our Advanced Materials division within the Power & Electrical sector across Southern Europe.
This is an exciting full-time, permanent, home-based role. You will report to the Sales Leader Power & Electrical EMEA and will be responsible for expanding our market presence and achieving growth objectives across the Southern Europe region.
Additionally, as the Sales Manager, you will:
- Act as a main customer contact for technical, sales, pricing topics for the entrusted accounts
- Manage and expand a portfolio of customers across Europe, ensuring financial and commercial growth targets are met.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships with key customers in Power & Electrical
- Manage customer opportunities: build and follow up on product introductions with customers, ensuring growth and timely execution.
- Negotiate sales contracts, terms and conditions according to prices approved by Huntsman and in line with the current regulations and procedures
- Actively manage credit performance and take corrective action within agreed business guidelines and support the certification and promotion activities
- Collect market and competitor information and maintain a market review
- Participate in cross-functional projects
Requirements:
- Degree qualified with previous experience in both an account management and new business development role within the speciality chemicals sector
- Strong communicator with proven business development skills with a passion for identifying new business opportunities
- Experience and know-how acquired in electricity transmission/distribution equipment manufacturing industry is a major asset but not essential.
- Entrepreneurial, results driven and autonomous in your approach with strong skills in organization and negotiation
- Fluency in Spanish and/or Italian is essential.
- Fluency in English is required.
