For a global leader in the packaging industry, we are looking for the Sales Manager Italy – Consumer Flexible Packaging.
Responsibilities:
Cultivate new customer relationships within the FMCG sector by providing value-added solution sales to meet their specific needs.
Strengthen sales efforts and expand product portfolio within the existing customer base to foster long-term partnerships and drive growth.
Drive the adoption of sustainable product offerings among existing customers.
Proactively build and enhance the project sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of opportunities and maximize revenue potential.
Engage in continuous learning and development by participating in available trainings on products, innovations, and sales tools to stay informed and competitive in the market.
Foster close collaboration with European plants, aligning on quotations, monitoring customer and project statuses, and contributing to plant strategies and market implementation plans.
Maintain thorough communication with clients and projects through our CRM tool, ensuring accurate and timely updates, and providing comprehensive monthly reports and visit summaries.
Take ownership of budgeting processes, effectively managing resources to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
Represent the company at local exhibitions, leveraging these platforms to showcase products, network with industry peers, and identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
Education background in Business or Chemicals.
Required Skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales/Business Development, specializing in flexible packaging for FMCG.
Fluent in Italian and English.
Willingness to travel up to 50% within Italy.
Proactive, self-motivated, and organized team player, comfortable working remotely and adept at reporting.
