Our future Sales Manager (M/F) will need to be native in Italian and very fluent in English and French. He/she will be fully responsible for the development of the Italian market.

We’re seeking a qualified Sales Manager (M/F) with deep experiences in selling to the Italian market. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the Sales Manager (M/F) has a strong understanding of the sales process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, building relationships, and setting up sales closers for success. As a Sales Manager (M/F), you are a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills – someone with a successful track record - and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for boosting top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands the company customer base and ensures its strong presence in the Italian market.
- Conduct incisive and insightful research of markets and competitors.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
- Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business in all service categories.
- Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.
- Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle objections: you will be expected to develop a well-rounded understanding of the technical capabilities of the CJ platform to provide clients with sufficient insight during the sales process.
- Lead pitches and client meetings and set expectations.
- Ensure that objectives are achieved, monitor progress vs. agreed KPIs, goals, and ROI.
- Be responsible for a strong operational rigor around pipeline and activities to drive efficiency and performance.
- Work collaboratively and cross-functionally across the organization (all departments including but not limited to On-Boarding, Operations, Client Development, Publisher Department, Marketing teams) to drive financial contributions and seamless customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business, marketing, and/or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of sales experience within a similar industry (digital marketing, data solutions, and/or affiliation ideally), with a minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the Italian market.
- You have excellent knowledge of online advertising and different acquisition channels.
- Affiliate expertise is a real plus.
- Proven track record of success in penetrating new markets and customer acquisition.
- You love to use and develop your network.
- You have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Committed and willing to work as a team, you are problem-solving oriented.
- Dynamic and proactive, with presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively.
- Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism; you also need to have the ability to influence and lead.
- Proficiency with sales management software and CRM (i.e., SalesForce).
- Microsoft Office tools & applications (ex: Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams).
- Native Italian and fluent English are mandatory. Good level of French (C1) to be able to work efficiently internally.
