For a leading international company operating in the Pharma field, I'm looking for a Sales Excellence Manager who will play a critical role in enhancing the performance of the internal sales team by developing and managing sales strategies, incentive programs, and performance metrics. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of pharmaceutical sales processes.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy Development:

  1. Collaborate with senior leadership to define sales objectives and strategies aligned with company goals
  2. Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

Incentive Program Management:

  1. Design, implement, and manage effective incentive programs to motivate and reward the sales team
  2. Monitor program effectiveness and make adjustments based on performance metrics and feedback

Performance Metrics and Analytics:

  1. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess sales effectiveness and team performance
  2. Conduct regular performance reviews, providing insights and recommendations to improve results

Process Improvement:

  1. Identify and address inefficiencies in sales processes to enhance productivity and effectiveness
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve communication and support for the sales force

Sales Tools and Resources:

  1. Evaluate and implement sales tools and technologies that support the sales team's efforts
  2. Ensure that sales representatives have access to up-to-date product information and marketing materials

Stakeholder Engagement:

  1. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including marketing, medical affairs, and finance teams
  2. Act as a liaison between the sales team and executive leadership to communicate progress and challenges

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or a related field; MBA preferred
  2. 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a focus on sales performance and incentive management
  3. Proven track record in developing and implementing successful sales strategies and incentive programs
  4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and motivating others
  6. Proficiency in Excel and CRM software and sales analytics tools
  7. Proficiency in English is a must
