A well-established Japanese manufacturer in Milan is currently recruiting a dynamic and analytical Sales Administration & Price Management Manager to play a pivotal role as the right hand of the Managing Director. This role involves managing a team of 10 professionals, overseeing order management and pricing strategies, and ensuring effective communication and negotiation with EMEA HQ and Japan HQ. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, a proactive approach, and resilience in a fast-paced environment.

TYPE: Permanent, full-time (6 months probationary period)

LOCATION: Milan (2 days working from home acceptable after the training)

Sales Administration & Price Management Manager Main Responsibilities:

  1. Direct report to the Managing Director, supporting strategic decision-making
  2. Lead and manage a team handling order entry and corporate customer service for both direct sales and dealer channels
  3. Lead and manage a team handling public and private tender administration
  4. Oversee the drafting of contracts and the management of partners/customers master records
  5. Oversee pricing management, ensuring alignment with market trends and company objectives; manage special price lists and special quotations, using the company Tools (Bizagi, Tender Database)
  6. Oversee bonus calculation for indirect and direct sales partners
  7. Take leading role in product management and its optimised allocation in cooperation with the marketing department and logistics department respectively, supported by his/her own competence in price management
  8. Take full knowledge in each defined area of activities and support the Managing Director in setting the strategy
  9. Monitor industry and competitor trends, providing insights and reporting to EMEA HQ and Japan HQ
  10. Proactively adjust pricing strategies in response to market fluctuations

Sales Administration & Price Management Manager Ideal Candidate:

  1. Strong leadership experience in sales administration, pricing, or order management
  2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in an international setting
  3. Native level in Italian and fluent in English are required
  4. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial and market data
