Borgo Pignano, a 750 acre private estate hidden away in the hills and valleys of Tuscany whose ethos is a commitment to slow food, slow living and sustainable organic farming, is looking for an engaging and proactive RESTAURANT MANAGER for the months from March to October 2025.
Responsibilities
Being the Leader of the Restaurants, he/she will lead the team by setting examples
Modeling and demonstrating all restaurants behaviors
Training staff to know the highest standards of service
Preparing daily organizations and weekly service plan
Overseeing the guests’ satisfaction and creating an action plan in order to ensure the brand promise.
Supervising the restaurant staff and the activities Department
Brand cross-selling
To meet and improve upon all agreed financial and quality targets within the departments
Being the owner of the restaurant style, including communicating information to staff regarding art, culture, produce, concepts
In charge of the complete welcoming, greeting and guest satisfaction
Ensure that grooming standards are followed
Requirements
At least 1-2 years in the same position
Strong knowledge of wine and culinary trends
Familiarity with restaurant management software
Excellent team management and strong leadership
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Team player
Respect for nature and for the values that the earth represents
Spoken and written fluency in English and Italian
Own car
