The Regional Vice President of Sales—EMEA will be responsible for all commercial sales, marketing, technical support, and business development activities in the EMEA region for EDGE. Their primary focus will be driving market development and demand generation towards company growth and sustainability. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a global mindset, and the ability to execute sales strategies in line with organizational goals.


Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Define the potential market in each sales territory and develop the resources to exploit each market’s potential fully.
  • Provide real-time feedback on sales forecasts and the funnel, sharing a clear sales trajectory.
  • Work with the local HR manager and global HR director to attract and retain talent for the commercial team in the region.
  • Spearhead local sales training programs with the Global VP of Sales and Global HR Director.
  • Supervise and mentor the local Sales Directors, assisting with the development of the branch manager and sales staff.
  • Partner with senior leadership to drive organizational change and development.
  • Work with the CEO and the Global VP of Sales to identify appropriate M&A opportunities within the region that align with EDGE's long-term growth plans, complement our existing organization, and are accretive to it.

To be successful in this role, you will have/be:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of the industrial automation and/or electrical distribution market.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across cultures.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading organizational change and development.
  • Ability to navigate complex and diverse organizational structures.

Additional Qualifications

  • Fluent in Italian; conversational English skills. Other European languages, such as French and Spanish, are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools.
  • This role will require travel and work outside of business hours
  • Team player and self-motivated
  • The Regional Vice President of Sales – EMEA will be expected to keep abreast of industry trends and technology to continuously improve our product and service offerings.

This position will initially be focused geographically in Northern Italy and will report directly to the Global VP of Sales. A company car will be provided to aid with travel throughout the region.
