The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for executing and communicating operational processes, policies, and procedures that impact store operations and customer experience across the Italy region. This role enhances and elevates the employee and customer experience through best-in-class operational optimization and implementation for the retail business.
Key Accountabilities- Drive new ways of working and process improvement initiatives
- Support with all operational needs and technology upgrades
- Oversee regional inventory management and optimization
- Optimize store operational standards and working procedures
- Manage delivery operations and logistics support across the region
- Drive Boss fulfilment and SLA for the region
- Oversee store openings within the region and provide operational support and set up
- Manage cash management adherence processes and controls
- Drive RFID initiatives for Regional and Channel Operations
Operational Excellence- Manage inventory flow to minimize shrink loss
- Optimize replenishment systems for price and size integrity
- Coordinate regular inventory counting activities
- Oversee product movement between back-of-house and sales areas
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics
- Implement best-in-class operational standards
Leadership & Collaboration- Act as primary operational contact for store (Operations) Managers
- Connect with cross-functional partners to drive retail enhancements
- Provide guidance and support to store sales (support) teams
- Lead small project teams and initiatives
- Build consensus across teams and stakeholders
Required QualificationsExperience, Skills & Knowledge- In-depth understanding of retail operations and related disciplines
- Knowledge of best practices and competitive landscape
- Project management experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Working Conditions- Frequent regional and occasional EMEA business travel required
- Works independently with minimal guidance
- Operates within broad guidelines and policies
- Reports into the Head of Italy, with dual report into Retail Operations Senior Manager EMEA
- Works closely with Retail Operations EMEA team
