The R&D department is looking for a R&D Project Manager in Monza site (Regular Contract).

Who you are

You are organized; you can prioritize the essentials and see the whole picture. Since you will be working with a remote team, you have good communication and networking skills, and great cross-cultural awareness. You own a strong mindset and enjoy working with R&D.

What about the job

Product Development FCS & Modules, based in Monza, is responsible for the definition of FSS (Fuel Supply Systems) and HSS (High Speed Separators) Module standard for a wide range of applications, duties, and fluids in close cooperation with Global Sales and Product Center. The position is based in Monza, Italy and you will report to the Head of Product Development Fuel Conditioning Systems & Modules.

In your role you will:

1. Drive R&D projects accordingly to budget, schedule, and quality target
2. Focus on product improvement and optimization for cost competitiveness and supply chain optimization
3. Follow project management procedures (Stage-Gate approach through Alfa Laval standard PROMAL)
4. Coordinate project team and interaction with other peers and experts
5. Handle planning and monitoring of the activities
6. Report progress to management and stakeholders
7. Develop and maintain good standard solutions (standardization) together with BU
8. Ensure industry and quality standards are met
9. Support Order handlers, Sales engineers, Engineers, Workshop and Buyers upon request
10. Participate in various project teams, which can be cross-functional

What you know

1. Strong technical background (engineering will be an asset)
2. Experience (at least 5 years) in the same role
3. Certification of competences will be a plus
4. Understand the basics in the fuel conditioning process on board vessels and about marine sector
5. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments and Office package (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams)
