Quality Assurance Specialist

Who will you be working with?

CoFren Wabtec Group in Avellino site, is a manufacturer and supplier of brake pads for freight and passenger trains. You will be part of the Quality department, working for Quality Assurance.

How will you make a difference?

As Quality Assurance Specialist you will be responsible for overseeing the quality standards of products or services, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.

What will your typical day look like?

1. Defining Quality standards and policies
2. Ensure compliance of Quality Management System with legal standards and regulations
3. Drive focus on continuous improvement
4. Understanding customer expectations and needs
5. Seek feedback from customers and ensure complete customer satisfaction
6. Supplier Quality Management to ensure that products and materials supplied by external vendors meet the company's quality standards
7. Lead First Article Inspection process to verify that the manufacturing process can produce parts that meet the required specifications and tolerances before full-scale production begins
8. Monitor operations affecting quality
9. Supervise QA staff and guide inspectors
10. Analyze quality data and identify improvement areas
11. Communicate with external QA officers during inspections

What do we want to know about you?

1. Degree or high school certification in technical / engineering field
2. +3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or similar role
3. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and standards
4. Knowledge and experience in the field of Customer Quality, Supplier Quality and Project Quality
5. Professional knowledge of English
6. Good knowledge of MS Office
7. Able to work in a team as well as independently
8. Excellent analytical and organizational skills
9. Leadership abilities and attention to detail
10. Availability to travel
