Position
We are currently looking for a Project Quality Manager for our plant project in Italy.
She/He will establish, implement, document and control a project quality management system in accordance with the project requirements and needs in line with the company's quality management system.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare the project quality plan and related procedures as necessary, in accordance with contractual requirements and to suit the project organization;
- Plan, execute, and report project quality audits in accordance with the schedule, criticalities, and contractual requirements;
- Support the project team with respect to all quality issues relevant to client requirements and/or any other involved parties;
- Define the minimum quality assurance/quality control requirements for subcontracted activities, contributing to the preparation of work requisitions;
- Coordinate the intervention of the site quality team and/or expediting and inspection teams whenever subcontracts involve shop prefabrication activities;
- Evaluate the technical proposals from potential subcontractors against quality assurance/quality control requirements, ensuring that, upon contract award, they implement a quality system consistent with what was agreed during the negotiation phase, attending clarification meetings if necessary;
- Prepare quality reports as necessary (weekly, monthly, etc.), ensuring the collection and review of data from the project quality organization;
- Participate in the selection of quality team personnel;
- Implement a non-conformity management system to monitor the status and establish corrective actions as necessary;
- Establish a system for measuring quality indicators to be used for management review;
- Organize and conduct induction presentations related to quality issues, as deemed necessary.
Requirements
- Master's degree or Bachelor's degree;
- Having 10 years of experience as Project Quality Manager;
- Previous experience on EPC plant projects;
- Strong knowledge of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU) and the Italian regulation DM 329/2004 related to the commissioning and inspection of pressure equipment;
- Excellent knowledge of English.
