Project Manager – Solar - Development & Construction – Italy – Leading Renewable Energy Developer – Remote Based

Role Overview:

My client is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the development of multiple solar projects in Italy and to then ensure a smooth transition into construction. Once the first project commences construction, the role involves leading that project's execution, working closely with internal teams, EPC contractors, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee development activities, ensuring permits, approvals, and project readiness.
2. Conduct market analysis on EPC contractors and suppliers.
3. Lead construction execution, ensuring budget, schedule, and HSE compliance.
4. Coordinate with Owners Engineering teams and EPC contractors.
5. Manage risks, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements:

1. 5+ years’ experience in project management.
2. Strong knowledge of EPC contracts, permitting, and financing.
3. Experience in the Italian renewable energy market preferred.
4. Strong project leadership and stakeholder management skills.
5. Location: Italy (Remote Based)
6. Contract Type: Freelance - 18 months contract
7. Start Date: Ideally April but latest August
