ENERGY STORAGE - PROJECT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

A producer of renewable photovoltaic energy on an international scale (present in 9 countries in Europe and Latin America), currently operates more than 1 GW worldwide and expects to grow more.

Offerta

1. Develop utility-scale battery storage projects until Ready-to-Build milestone including the management of the collaboration with external development entities (25% of your time).
2. Ensure follow-up of the stakeholders of the project such as grid operators, local authorities, landowners and the wider public as part of the project development process (20% of your time).
3. Conduct high-level site analysis and support in the due diligence processes of projects and to actively participate in projects portfolio acquisition (20% of your time).
4. Follow-up regularly the regulatory changes and market reforms concerning battery storage in Italy (15% of your time).
5. Cultivate the interface with external partners and the Group support functions (10% of your time).
6. Own and prepare all relevant documents within the group and external stakeholders (10% of your time).

Competenze ed esperienza

1. Educational Background: Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or a related field.
2. Professional Experience: > 5 years' experience in developing renewable energy projects or at least 2 years specifically in BESS project development in Italy, with a focus on permitting and grid applications.
3. Regulatory Expertise: You're well-versed in local development processes, regulations, and call-for-tender mechanisms, with solid knowledge of grid connection permitting.
4. Energy Markets Insight: Experience in energy markets and BESS revenue streams would be a major advantage.
5. Technical Proficiency: You are highly skilled with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint), and have experience with software such as Google Earth, QGIS, or equivalent GIS software.
6. Language Skills: You are fluent in both Italian and English.
