Program Manager

The Program Manager will lead the PMO team of the Mobile Business Unit.

Role Mission: The Program Manager mission is to ensure the Business Unit’s Product Portfolio Roadmap is aligned with Business Goals by securing project compliance with Budget and Timing and fostering cross-functional collaboration across teams. The Program Manager will contribute to the improvement of Projects’ Performance and facilitate decision making through effective Governance and fact-based reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and lead a Program Core team, consisting of representatives across all functions within the organization.
2. Oversee plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure objectives are accomplished within the required time frame, budget, and product cost parameters.
3. Manage Program from concept initiation to full production delivery, interfacing with internal customers and department personnel.
4. Create, plan, and manage program budgets and program schedules.
5. Work with managers of other functions to establish WBS tasks with schedule and resources assignments for each phase of the program.
6. Organize program activities and interdepartmental meetings. Ensure that correct processes are followed.
7. Assess risks and create risk management strategy contingency plans. Punctuality and precision in particular when reporting roadblocks, to avoid getting stuck and losing efficiency.
8. Identify and manage engagement risks and flag major issues as early as possible.
9. Report to Executive Staff, Program status and plans, as defined in the New Product Development process.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other scientific areas.

Languages: Italian; Fluent in English.

Experience: A proven track record of successfully implementing projects including 2 to 5 years of experience as a Project Manager managing large, time-critical, and significantly complex projects in a high-tech industry (Hardware / Software) with multi-function teams of up to 10-15 individuals.

Certifications: PMP Certification or other Project Management certifications are highly desired.

The role requires occasional travels to global destinations including the USA.
