Program Manager
The Program Manager will lead the PMO team of the Mobile Business Unit.
Role Mission: The Program Manager mission is to ensure the Business Unit’s Product Portfolio Roadmap is aligned with Business Goals by securing project compliance with Budget and Timing and fostering cross-functional collaboration across teams. The Program Manager will contribute to the improvement of Projects’ Performance and facilitate decision making through effective Governance and fact-based reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a Program Core team, consisting of representatives across all functions within the organization.
- Oversee plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure objectives are accomplished within the required time frame, budget, and product cost parameters.
- Manage Program from concept initiation to full production delivery, interfacing with internal customers and department personnel.
- Create, plan, and manage program budgets and program schedules.
- Work with managers of other functions to establish WBS tasks with schedule and resources assignments for each phase of the program.
- Organize program activities and interdepartmental meetings. Ensure that correct processes are followed.
- Assess risks and create risk management strategy contingency plans. Punctuality and precision in particular when reporting roadblocks, to avoid getting stuck and losing efficiency.
- Identify and manage engagement risks and flag major issues as early as possible.
- Report to Executive Staff, Program status and plans, as defined in the New Product Development process.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other scientific areas.
Languages: Italian; Fluent in English.
Experience: A proven track record of successfully implementing projects including 2 to 5 years of experience as a Project Manager managing large, time-critical, and significantly complex projects in a high-tech industry (Hardware / Software) with multi-function teams of up to 10-15 individuals.

The role requires occasional travels to global destinations including the USA.
