Job Description - Professional Services Engineer EMEA (Based in Milan, Italy)

Professional Services (PS) Engineers operate as the leading technical force of the Regional Field Support Organization, responsible for low-level design, deployment, and advanced technical consulting of the entire Radware solutions portfolio. PS Engineers work directly with customers, leading Radware solution implementation and support on customer premises (either on-site or remotely).

PS Engineers cooperate with Pre-sales, Sales, Product Management, R&D, and Global support teams inside Radware to implement solutions according to customer requirements and needs.

In this role, the PS Engineer will work from home and visit customers on-site.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordination of technical solutions with Pre-Sale Engineers
2. Deep understanding of customer requirements and customizations
3. Creation of solutions with detailed technical design and documentation – SoW, LLD, ATP
4. Solution implementation according to agreed schedule and timelines
5. Troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during implementation (interaction with back-office and R&D teams, if needed)
6. Conduct technical workshops and consulting with customers and partners
7. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and customer personnel to work effectively

Requirements:

1. At least 3 years of industry-relevant integration work experience (Networking and Security)
2. Customer orientation and on-site support experience
3. Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with L2 / L3 Switching / Routing, L4 / L7 switching / load balancing
4. Knowledge of firewalls, IDS / IPS, VPN, security consulting, SSL, IPSec
5. Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and virtualization products (VMware, KVM)
6. Good knowledge of Linux environment and script writing skills in at least one of the following: Bash, Perl, Python
7. Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities - complex problem debugging and resolution
8. Communication and interpersonal skills – written and verbal
9. The role requires frequent traveling locally and abroad
10. Fluent English communication – written and verbal
11. Willingness to travel up to 50%

Advantages:

1. Familiarity with Radware products (preferred), or other Application Delivery products / solutions
2. Familiarity with DoS attack mitigation solutions
3. Multi-language ability (English fluency is a must-have, and French fluency is a strong advantage)
